Jalavo Inc. is a company with bases in Lewes, Delaware in the USA and in Copenhagen, Denmark, Europe. In the USA, we are online resellers in specific niche markets and in the Amazon marketplace. In Denmark, Jalavo sells consumer goods both online and offline. The company owners regularly travel the world finding new products to sell online, meeting with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, etc. The company has contacts in China, a warehouse location in the USA (Michigan) and its personnel visits tradeshows in both Europe and the USA.
Jalavo Inc. uses a revolutionary piece of in-house inventory software which matches inventories all over the world with the inventories in all USA-based Amazon warehouses. Like this, we can make decisions on what is profitable to buy and send to FBA. It allows us to sift through the inventory of distributors, manufacturers, and suppliers in literally seconds, thus giving us an advantage over many competitors.

Jacobus Lavooij ran a Marketing Agency in Holland during the 90-ies before he moved to Denmark in 1999 where he worked as an Editor in Chief for a scientific publisher for over 15 years. In the last 10 years, he has also been a marketing advisor for companies that sell online and a specialist in YouTube marketing for small businesses. He is a big soccer fan and loves to travel to all the beautiful places of Earth that have mountains or beaches.
Anne, owner and CEO
Anne Lavooij-Colomb has been active in an executive function for more than 20 years before she and her husband founded Jalavo. She ran a branch with lots of personnel all over the globe and traveled the world in that capacity. Besides that, she is an expert on corporate finances and maintaining good relations with other companies and is the person in charge at Jalavo. Anne is also in charge of Web Design Experts EU, our European web design department.
Claudia, Product Development Manager
Claudia Langreiter is our product developer for the private label department. She is trained in college on foreign trades and also worked as a translator and interpreter. For many years she was in charge of training executives for a big organization in business management and got these executives through their training on how to run their departments. She worked both in the USA and in Europe for this organization. She also ran a department for quality control for a few years before she arrived at Jalavo. In her spare time she likes to do sports and travel.
Ernst, Product Development Assistant
Ernst Langreiter did special studies in agriculture in Austria right after he finished college. He worked for 7 years in the field of agriculture before he started an extensive training to be a personal consultant and life coach and has worked in that capacity for 18 years before he joined Jalavo. In that period he was also active as a specialist in construction and machinery. Nowadays, he is researching new products for our private label department and thus an important member of the company. In his spare time he loves to do sports like biking, swimming and skiing. Also, he likes to explore new areas by travelling.

What does Jalavo Inc. think about MAP?
We are very strong believers in MAP. To us, MAP products are really the best products to sell, because they stop the so-called race to zero between resellers and MAP is better for all sellers online and sellers in general. If we find other sellers violating MAP, we always report them to the distributor, the manufacturer or the product owner that issued the MAP, because violations of MAP is just very bad business for all of us.

The owners are originally from The Netherlands and France and have a company in Denmark and in Delaware in the United States. However, you will only be doing business with the company in Delaware, which has an American EIN and business license (resale permit).
Does Jalavo Inc. sell on Amazon?
Yes, we do, but we also sell on other platforms and even to brick and mortar when we see a product that can also be sold through offline channels.

What we need from Distributors
For us to be able to do business with you, we need a spreadsheet with a few pieces of data we use in our in-house inventory software program. We need at least the following in columns: 1. UPC Number; 2. Unit price; 3. SKU; and 4. Description of the item (sequence is irrelevant). A brand name will also help us but is not mandatory for us to feed into the software. Without any of the 4 mentioned parameters, it is impossible for us to estimate the profitability of your products.
